Dr. Frongley, district health officer, has .iust couclnded a ehort visit to Wallii for the purpose chiefly of Investigating local cases of scarlet fevor. He was accompanied by Mr Murray, the local sanitary Inspector, on a tonr of the borough. With regard to five scarlet fever patients. Dr. Frengley found that all necessary precautions had been tnken. and that there wt» not much likelihood of the disease spreading H* was not quite satisfied with the hospital septic tank, and some alterations were needed.
