Th University Senate concluded its annual session this morning. The morning ■.vas fully occupied by the final reading md revision in detail of the statutes passed by the Senate. A gallon or two of whisky was spilt in the gutter in Custom street, near Messrs. A. 11. Nathan & Co.'s store, this morning. The lighted end of a cigarette set it on tire, and attracted a crown. The Devonport Ferry Company will run steamers to Stanley Bay to-morrow for the purpose of people wishing to visit thf whale recently captured by Mr Ike Hunt.
