TREATMENT OF ABORIGINALS.
(Received 9.25 a.m.) PERTH, this d»y. - Sir John Forrest declares that -JDp; Roth's report, alleging brutal treatment of aborigines, is inadequate, and probably misleading. It appears that Dr. R°**j had seen scarcely anything of the inUu 11 towns, and judged the aboriginal Ttce from what he saw in the Email townships, -where people of all sorts are congregated. It seems that he had B?**°*" his information from a passing visit" , the coastal towns. The attitude of jf c Commissioner was the outcome of_t&* foolish action of the Government in inviting others to report where they were already well informed.
