A handsome Napier model oil engine, which ia of English nianufaciuve, has just arrived from the makers, nnxl is now on view at the shipbuilding yard of Mr. K. Logan, icnr., who is thu local ( agtmt. The engine, which is very nice'y finished, is of 30 h.p.. and will be placed iv a 30ft boat which Mr. Logan has built. There is another 35rt boat on tho stocks for Whangarei, which is to be fitted with a 15 li.p. Napier engine, and several other orders are contemplated. 27-inch Jap. silk, lljd. all colours; black s>lks, 4/11. reduced to 1/lli; black and white check silks.. 4/11, reduced to black and white and coloured Jap. silks, 9Jd. —At The Beehive, Ne\yton only.—(Ad.)
