RACING NEWS.
TAICAPUNA JOCKEY CLUB'S SUMMER MEETING. The concluding day of the Takapuna Jockey Club's Summer Meeting will be h-ftld to-morrow. As on the other uays, the acceptances* received are good, and the issues decidedly open. The double event totalisator will be open on the Borough Handicap and the Summer Handicap, and as on previous occasions will close for investments a quarter of an hour before the slart of the lirst leg of the double. The following horses are suggested as likely to run forward in their respective engagemeate*— Marine Handicap—Dardanus or Hiro. Handicap Hurdles. —Spalpeen or Wairalia. Borough nandicap—Gweniad or Alba Rose. Summer Handicap—Akarana or ParatotuPony Handicap—Solitary or Inspiration. Devonport Handicap— Te Aroba or Numa. Roc-ond Steepiecltase—Svsdurmer or Wairata. Welter nandicap—Paratutu or Annoyed. Horse owners are re-ininded that nominations for all events at tne Kotorua Jtu-Jcey Club's annual meeting close to-night at 9 p.m. Entries can be either with Messrs H. 11. Hayr and Co., Auckland, or the secretary, Rotorua. Those interested are reminded thnl noininations for the Otahuhu Trotting club's Summer Meeting close to-night :;i ii p.m. •
