Messrs Tonks & Co. held a trade sale of snperior congou teas, ex James Service, to-day at noon. There was a good attendance of bidders, and a number of parcels sold at prices ranging from Is 16. to Is lie in bond. In the face of arrivals of new season teas, 412 half-chests w*re sold at satisfactory price* Mr K. Arthur sold to-day a portion of the library Of the late John Williamson, consisting chiefly of theological wojks, commentaries, ives of Wesleyan ministers, and statis'ical and political issues, which realised very fair prices. Mr Levi W. Eaton sold to-day a large quantity of fruit, ex Free Trader from Hobarton, at the subjoined prices • French rrabs, 2)£d to 2Jd ; stone pippios £d to 2f d ; Newgate do, Jd ; pearmains, 2|d ; and nonpareil russets, 4d. Sale of potatoes aud butter postponed.
