The unloadiogof the ships Lutterworrh and Flechero was proceeding rapidly to-day, full advantage being taken of the favorable change of weather Mr. M Niecoi is advertising for sale the fine little screw steamer, recently built by Messrs JNiccol and Sm at the Noith Shore The price fixed, we understand, is very moderate, and the opportunity is a go<id one f^r securing a useful boat Owing to the sale blowing in harbour yesterday, the steamers loua and Southern Cross did not leave for their resiective destinations. Both, howver, leave this afternoon —the first-nsrned for the North, and the latter for Napier. Six tenders have been received by the manager of tbe Auckland" steam Packet Compiuy for the alterations of tha S3 Llewellyn A meeting of directors to determine the selection of the most favorable tender ■was to have been held yesterday, but had to ba postponed in cons quence of the absence of a quorum, A further meeting was called for ti-rtay at 2 o'clock. Tne ? a Hawea ltaves Nelson today, snd should arrive *n the ■>anuiau on Thursday morning. She is advertised to s<il agnn on Friday. It is now ascertained that the topsail schooner Dauntless lpft Moeraki on the 10!h of last month, not the Bth. Mr Conroy, the owner, thinks the ch-.nca of her taming up is very small. She is insured in the New Zea aud oflice f^r £1 OjO, but her value was estimated atover £1,600. Her cargo consisted of 30 tons Of flour and the remainder of oats. She was freighted by Mrssrs TnrnbuU and Co., of Dunedin, and was consigned to the same firm at Welliu£son. It is not yet known what insurances there were on the cargo. Captain Ponlsen has a wife and family in Auckland. In addition to the captain there were on board a mate, steward, and three ordinary senmen. The brig Wave was brought alongside the wharf to-day. The damaga incurred by the collision with the hulk Canteroon Saturday appear.", very serious. Her fore-riggirg on the port side is terribly mauled, two of the shrouds being completely severed, and the chain plates being S.ent and broken to such an extent as to require total renewal, The bulwarks and some of ti.e stanchions abreast of the toremast are smashed, and thejopgallantrai! carried away for a considerable distance for and aft. The injury to the foremast consists ia a deep graze aft, about midway between the deck and the crosstrees. This was caused by the bowsprit of tht> hulk getting through the rigging and see-sating apatnst the mast. It is not anticipated that jhe injury wilLnecessitate a'newniiStbeing stepped.
