PORT CHALMERS.
(Frcm our own Correspondent.) This day. The Taupo's Voyage.
Arrived Taupo from North. Experienced very heavy sea off Banks' Peninsula and had to go 90 miles out of course to keep end on to it, for sake of valuable race horses berthed forward.
At the Court this morning another batch of cases against Mr Strachan, railway contractor, were heard. A verdict for plaintiff was returned with costs in all.
