GRAHAMSTOWN.
(From our own Correspondent. This day. There is an interesting case on at the Resident Magistrate's court to-day. A party took objections to voters, who were believed to be Orangemen, and the person objecting now sues his party for services rendered. The Ajax are busy turning the creek to carry on operations in the bed of the creek where the lode crops up. The Old Whau have 92 ozs. of gold from a partial crushing. They have commenced a permanent crushing at their own mill, and a good return is expected. Caledonians have been much enquired for here this morning. It is expected they will take up the Cure run of gold quickly. The Triangle, Tairua, have cut several leaders.
The Prospectors Battery is being rapidly erected, and tenders for the conveyance of quartz to the site have been received.
