COPvTTCINE is a Floor Covering composed of pure Vegetable Oil, prepared by a patent process, mixed with ground cork, and rolled on a strong backing of waterproofed canvas. ■ It is a warm soft, noiselees, clean, and thoroughly damp-proof material, inodorous, of great durability, and perfect elasticity. It is available for every purpose to which Kamptulicon and Linoleum have hitherto been applied, while it possesses the additional merit of being entirely unaffected by temperature. It remains soft and pliable in the coldest weather, and may be used with equal advantage in warm climates. COTICINE can be manufactured of any colour, which, being an integral part of the material, will never wear off. It is printed with a great variety of patterns, fitting it for use in every part of a dwellinghouse or'public building. Its warmth, noieelessnes and cleanliness, render it a perfect substitute for carpet. When once laid, which can be readily done by .means of a few tacks, it requires only to be washed, and need never be taken up. It is employed by Railway Companies, Hotels, Banks, Restaurants, &c, and in all places where the truffle is great, and is admirably adapted for use on board ship.
