Whitaker, Esq., in the chair. The secretary read the Directors' Report and financial statement, which were of an encouraging nature, and were passed. The chairman stated __at he believed the Company would shortly be able to reduce the price of gas. A dividend at the rate of 15 per cent was declared. A resolution to sanction the increase of the capital of the company, by the creation of 4000 new shares of £5, from time to time, as capital Bhould be required for additional works, was passed. Messrs Whitaker and Pierce were reelected on the directory. The auditor was re-appctinted. This concluded the business.
