The Adveetiser pigeongram from Tairua saya the proseects from the Ajax claim are very good, and obtained from the cap of the main reef, more down the reef than the tunnel. The reef in the tunnel is over sft. wide, witn nice prospects. The national got good prospects from the cap of-the cap of the large reef cut in the trench. They are driving to cut it 30ft. lower. The Prospecttors' are in No. 2 reef 8 feet, and the laßt shot has uncovered some very rich stuff. CrushingsThe Watchman tribute retorted to-day. Forty tons were crushed for a yield of 45 ozs. 2 dwts. of gold. The Long Drive melted yield is 580 ozs. 6 dwts. The Moanatairi retort to-day. They crushed 670 tons, and will have about 220 ozs. The GoldetfCalf and Cure are also retorting to-day, but will not finish till late. Sales: Tairua, 57s 6d, 60s; Gem, 8s 6d, 9s; Britannia, 2s 3d, 2s 4d, 2a 6d jEI Dorado, 365; Ajax, 2s 6d.
