RED QUEEN GOLD-MINING COMPANY.
The annual meeting of the above compan, was held to-day at noon, in the offices of Mr Garland.
Mr. Williamson was called to the chair The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.
The directors' and mine manager's reports were read, and showed that the operationsof the Company had been confined to the small leader, which had produced 102 tons quartz yielding 2140zs gold, value £602 16s 7d, but that this sum bad nearly been absorbed^ working the mine. The financial statement| was healthy and shewed a balance of of £6 "5 7s Id in favor of the company. - ;
The reports and balance sheet were adopted; Messrs White and. Rollinsoa elected auditors, and Mr John Symong auditor.
A vote of thanks to the chairman closed the meeting.
