The steamer bringing up Dr Silvester from the South has been delayed at Nelson, and his first entertainment has consequently been postponed from Saturday till Monday next. In the fourth page of to-day'a Stab appears a notice of some of the remarkable allusions which the Fakir produces. In our notice, however, the word" illusionist " is misprinted ' mesmerist." Dr. Sil tester does not aspire to celebrity for the possession of skill in the atter art.
