In relation to the accidental grounding of tbis vessel tbe manager of the South British Insurance Co. this, afternoon received the following telegram from their agent at Tauranga :— " Syren aground on Tairua bar on Saturday when Sellars passed about noon. In no danger. Expected to float next tide." The Syren's insurance in the South British is £1400 not £1600 as stated elsewhere. A large portion of this is re-iasured in the Victoria. &
