Mr- ALFi-KD Bucki-and's Wkeklv Bkpost.— At Remuera. on Thursday, dairy cattle were in usual numbers and in steady deaand at last week's values. Store cattle ia larger numbers than ususl. Cows in low condition dull of sale ; all other kinds better worth. Fat cattle of good quality in larger numbers than usual ; 263 head sold ; prices steady throughout at a fall of 2s 6d per lOOlbs on last week's sales. Store sheep plentiful and in fair enquiry at late r_tes Pat sheep in u.ual supply, but middling quality only ; prices without alteration. Pijrsin vary limited numbers. Prices given were : Best dairy cows uo to £L_ 10s ; inferior, from ..5 10s each ; dry cow .£3 5s to £4 10s; yearlings, „2 lCs to £3 15s ; calves, 23s to *8s ; two-year-olds, £3 2s 6d to £5 : three-year-olds and fcrown tteers, £1 to £8 ; best quality fat cattle, 85s to 37s 6d ; inferior, from 27s 6d the ICOlbs ; aged ewes near lambing, 13s to 18? each; longwoolled wethers, 15s to 17s ; fat-sheep, __d per lb.
