Mr R. Arthur reports : Fowls at 9A (small) to _s"B_. turkeys, 2s 7d to 2s 9d ; geese, 4s 6d ; ducks, 2s 9d '. pigeons (fancy), Is 61 to 2s ; potatoes, 2s to 5s 9d ' carrots, 4s 3d ; onions, Id to l_d ; Waiuku bmon,; 6_d to Kid; Taranaki bacon, 10d; and Auckland butter, Is to Is 4d. . Messrs B Tonks and Co. sold yesterday 40 kegs of Nebon butter at Is 3d and Is 4J_ per lb ; also, several of 'Chaspell's rosewood pianofortes, from £23 to £53 Mr R O. Greenwood held his first auction sale of poultry and birds in the Market yesterday, and the sale was well attended. Fowls realised 2s 9d to 3s ; turaeys (g;odL 6s 9d to 7s, ordinary do, 4s to 6s 6d; ducks. 2s to 3s 6d ; chickens Is 3d to Is 6d; brahmas, 5s to 7s 6d ; guinea fowls, 2s to 3s. ■
