John Flood, who wore a sad and gim countenance, was fined 5s for the same ffence. David Cleary, this being his second offence within a few days, was fined 10s ; nd John McLeod, a hale stout fellow, wit! more money than wit, was sentenced to sev< i days' imprisonment, this being his third ojence of drunkenness within a fortnight. j fOM JONES. The prisonei who bore traces of former good looks, pladed guilty. The prisonei was found last night lying among the locks near the Grammar School in a wild condition in company with iieves and persons of bad character, whjlook to their heels on seeing the figure ofponstable Gillies approaching them, but tfe woman wag left helpless behind.
