DEPUTATION'TO THE SUPERINTENDENT.

A deputation of the Onehunga Highway Board consisting of Messrs Jakins (chairman), Goldie, Hastie, Mclnfcyre, and J. Lundon, waited od the Superintendent to-day requesting him to take steps towards bringing in a bill in the coming session ot. Parliament for the purpose of amalgamating the Harbour and township'interests of Onehunga, and placing them in the hands of the Highway Trustees, also for handing over to them the harbour endowments. His Honor readily promised to work cordially with MrO'JKorke for the object intended.
