The three-masted schooner Rosebud arrived from Dunedin this day. She brings a cargo of breadstuff's, principally for Mr. T. H. Hall. The schooner Ocean h»3 put out 18.000 feet timber from Mercury Bay. She has since cleared for the rsama port with stores The cutter Morning Light has put out her cargo of 20,000 feet timber from Port Charles. She returns to the same port. ■ ■ , . The schooner Effie Meikle bnngs 70 tons coal, and the Golden Isle 100 tons coa's from Russell The following vessels have entered out to-day :— Fernglen, ship, for London; Albion, barque for Russell; Ella Gladstone, brig, for Newcastle The barque Vivid left °ort Phillip Heads for Circular Head on the 23th ult. From Circular Head the Vivid is to come on to Auckland. The unfortunate barque Shooting Star is still at anchor in the stream waiting for telegraphic m»truc tions from Englaufi as to th« satisfaction of ber claims for ihirt de'iTory and damage. ■ The hrigtatine Omaha, Captain Meiklejohn, arrived from Lyttelton yeste'da*- afternoon with a cargo of grain She left on the 27cb. ult, and has had a roush pasjese. She brigantine gnes, the schooners Fairlie ani Rosebud, and a fore-and-after, all appareutly boond for Auckland. __ • . The pilot schroner Vindex had a short »np_ In the harbour on Saturday for the purpose of trying her sails. They appeared to suit admirably. M r Boyd supplied them. The s s Southern Cross left Onehunga on Saturday •afternoon for Hokianga with passengers and cargo. ■ The cutter Mercury, from Tairua, brings a cargo of timber and gum. , , . . ~ The barque Bella Mary has almost completed the dischargee her cargo. She will leave in a few days for Hobart Town. The cutter Tay brings a cargo of 96 sheep from the Waitara. Tha cutter Coralie, from Opotiki, brings four passencers and a cargo of c aatal produce The Go-ahead left the Manukau on Saturday afternoon with a general 'cargo, and passengers—Messrs Casson and Clare.
