Major Kebdkll and Inspector Thomson, A.C., we learn, returned to town from the Thames district on Saturday night,, the Governor's special commission as alleged fraudulent procural of Miners' Rights at the opening of Ohinemuri having expired on the 10th instant. We understand that the evidence obtained at Ohinemuri and other places by the above-named officers in the course of their enquiries into the irregularities in question has been forwarded to Wellington ; but, we presume, will not be made public unless (on the application of some Honorable Member) the Government should decdie to lay it on the table of the House of Representatives.
