DISTRIBUTION OF PRIZES AT THE AUCKLAND COLLEGE AND GRAMMAR SCHOOL.
The distribution of prizes awarded last Christmas at the Auckland College and Grammar Sohool took place to-day in the school-room. The prizes originally purchased were lost in the ill-fated ship Cospatrick, and the duplicates purchased in lieu of them have only just arrived. His Honor the Superintendent, Sir George Grey, X.0.8., officiated in distributing the honours won by the lads whose names appeared in our columns at the time of the examinations, which closed the last term of 1874.
