"JOCCRISSE THE JUGGLER."
Such was the title of the sensational drama produced at the Prince of TVales Theatre last evening to a goodly assemblage of persons in attendance. Mr Collier, who acted the part of the juggler, did it very cleverly, to the delight of the aidience. The intention of the writer of the drama no doubt was to expose some of the trick* and deceptions of jugglers, and if it provdeffective in this respect, the drama will be of service. The piece, besides othere associations bearing upon the main idea, has of course a lovestory, without which scarcely anp section of literature would be complete. Tie beautiful daughter of Count de Lespierre ii the object ot the both, of Charles De Vernay (Mr Holloway) and his cousin Adolphi (Mr Aveling) j and the incidents of*the story stud the whole piece, and is brought to a happy issue. Miss Clara Stejhenson as Julia, was greatly successful. Mr Sam Poole as Tobie, made his characterluminous with his sunny humour and ready ?rit. The other parts of this lively production were well executed, and extremely pleasing in their unfoldings, and the drama itself, which will be repeated to-night, is one calculated to give satisfaction to many and offence to none. The " Loan of a Lover," ) pretty farce, brought the entertainment tt a close. In its place this evening, by way of a change, anew farce, "Barney the Baron," will be performed.
