[Per Presa Telegram Agency.] Thursday. City Income. The present annual income of the City Council is £123,692, and the liabilities £109^188 including £2,458 due to the Bank of New Zealand. Gas Company and Corporation. The Gas Company offered to sell the gas works and grant to "the City for £60,000, to be taken in corporation debentures, bearing interest at 6 per cent, at par, delivery to be taken in September.
