The ship Result is ashore on the sandspit inside, opposite Nelson's Heads. She had signals of distress flying. The Ballina attempted to put to sea yesterday afternoon, but shipped a heavy sea, which injured two seamen. The Agnes Irving and the Platypus also tried to get out, but had to return, the sea being too heavy. The ship Result is said .to have six feet of water in the hold. ■ : -■'
