The s.s. lona left the Bay of Islands at 5 p.m. yesterday, and arrived at 9 o'clock this morning. Passengers :—Judge Monroe, Mr. Bridson, a native assessor, Dr. Knight, Messrs. Dixon, J. Spencer, J. Herbert, H. Wright, Leyburn, Ber^r-d. S. Wheatman, Brown, Caldwell, G. Thome (jun.), Rev. Mr. Wallis, Andrews, Mr. and Miss Scott, and six in the stterasre. Cargo : 46 head cattle, 61 bags gum.-- Cruickshank and Co., agents. At Wangaroa • the brigantine Look Out, the schooner Estelle, and the schooner Onward are loading timber. The cutter Magic has cleared for Russell in ballast. The cutter Wangarei was to leave for Wan£arei this aft«rnoon with a miscellaneous cargo. The brig Sarah, Captain Thomson, left Moeraki on the night of Sunday, the 20th ,nlt. For the first five days bad light winds, and during the latter part of the passage heavy weather. Arrived in Rangitoto Channel last night. The Sarah is consigned to Messrs Coupland and Co. The Kate Brain left Timaru for this port on Tuesday last with a cargo of grain. . The schooner Atlantic has been chartered by Messrs Coombes and Psldy to load timber for T.jttelton, and 'the schooner Pearl by Mr C A Harris for the same purpose. The ex-brigantine Coronet has been beached at Mr D Gink's yard. Smailes' Point, wherr. she will be re-catnked and coppered, and rigged is a fore-and-aft schoom r. The three-masted schooner Agne; Jessie is in the stream ready to sail. She ha* cleared for Gnam. Her destination, we" believe, is iiobart Town, where she is owned Word.has been received by telegram in Sydney that the ss City of to el bourne )ef c Ban Francisco on the 2l«t June, her proper date of departure S-e is due here on or about the 18th instant, but we shall probab'y pee her a day or two before that. The ship Caller Ou sailed for Newcastle, in ballast, this morr.ing. HM9 Dido steamed out of harbour this morning. She proceeds to Tauranea and Wellington, whee she will remain during the Parliament session. Her crew have distinguished themselves fir tbeir good conduct since their arrival in these waters.
