ATTEMPTS TO GET UP EXCITEMEET,
Prom Tairua there is no fresh news. Every claim on the field is said to contain the Prospectors' reef, so that it must run in a very peculiar manner. New ground in being pegged out in evt.ry direction, all of which, as a matter of course, contains the same reef. Desperate efforts are being made to get a run on certain shares, so that the original holders may get out. The Thames Advertiser has twice cautioned the public against undue excitement. No yields can come out of th. new field for many months. It want _ a large amount of money and plenty battery power to develop it.
