The s.s Wellington was appointed to leave the Manukau this afternoon for the bouth. By latest from Onehunga the bar ™V*, cle*r of break, and it is therefore probable she would go nt her proper time, three ocJock. Passengers : Messrs. Chudleigh, and Scotland, Miss White, Messrs. Main, J. Hart, Connochie, Palmer, Mr. and Mrs. Walsh and family, and several others. Ihe schooner Golden Isle and cutter Maud have cleared in ballast for Rusell. The barque Glimpse cleared to-day in ballast for Newcastle. She will sail as soon as the weather moderates. The brigs Derwent and Rio Loge are still at anchor inside the North Head. The westerly gales which set in yesterday have continued to-day with unabated violence putting an entire stop to business on the wharf. The cutter Wanderer which has had a portion of her port bulwarks knocked away by colliding with the schooner Echo, was being repaired to-day in Commercial Bay by Messrs Sims and Brown.
