The affairs of ow Athenaeum have fallei once more into an unsatisfactory state. New Preslyterian Church. The air will be smplied by patent ventilators. At the back q the church is a suite of rooms, to which acces is gained from the church through two dod-s, one on either side of the pulpit. A cou^e of ante-rooms occupy the first floor, and above them is a vestry, 10 feet by 9 feet, and another larger room for general pHrposesj 20 feet by. 11 feet. Leading from these rooms and upon the same level is a large schoolroom, 59 feet' by 41 feet. The anticipate! expenditure ie £3,900, to meet which theri are only £2 400 in band.
