The schooner Favorite arrived this afternoon from Wangaroa with 30.000 feet timber and 2 tons gum. Captain Savory reports that on Friday he was obliged to put into Wangamumu, and on Saturday into Wangaruru. The brig Derwsnt put back to-day, owing to the unfavourable state of the weather. She is at present anchored in the powder ground. P'Mr Green's yacht the Rose, while underweigh in the harbour to-day, lost her mast in the stiff breeze blowing. She was brought to an anchor safely. The brig Albion entered out to-day for Kaipara, and the barque Glimpse for Newcastle. 'From Napier the ship Countess of Klntore will Proceed to the Bluff, for which port she has a large quantity of railway iron on board. The brigantine Omaha cleared at Lyttelton for Auckland on the 92nd in tant with the following cargo:—977 sacks wheat. 342 sacks oats, 125 sacks potatoes, 150 bags floar, 20 sacks sharps, 40 tuaga oat-. meal. The brigantine Agnes, which arrived at Dunedin on the 2 ith instant, hai a very tempestuous passage of 20 days Shu had to run back for shelter two or three times during the voyape and was hore-to on two occasions for 12 hours and 48 hours each time. Tbe s s Star of the Sou^h took her final departure for the Fijis from the Tamafci this morning. The schooner O-oWen Isle brings a cargo of 100 tons coal from Ru«sell. The cutter Magic arrived this morning from Wangape via Russell She brings 10 tons gum and 9 hiffs wool from theformer, and 40 tons coal from the latter port. Captain Stayers has resigned command of the bwque Olimpss, and his place issuuplied by Captain G. B. Harris. This gentleman was some years ago employed in the China trade, and had, command of the steatn%hip Iron Princa. We learn that the schooner Jessie Henderson arrived at Waikato a few days agn from Lyttelton.
