HAMILTON.
(From enr own Correspondent.) This day. The KaDgiriri broke down twice between Cambridge and Hamilton, and is now repairing. The Waikato Times this morning has a leader on banking arising out of Thome's case. It says the practice of supporting foreign backs is unsound, unpatriotic, and pernicious to the best-interests of the colony. Mr. O'b'ullivan is still inspecting schools, and returns to Auckland on Thursday. % Pig Stealing. A man named Dally was convicted at the Resident Magistrates Court at Hamilton this morning on two charges of pig-stealing, and received a sentence of nine months'.
