Liability of Mail Coaches
The Chief Justice has given a decitiin, which settles the liability of mail coaches to pay tolls by dismissing Young's (coach proprietor) appeal with costs. Mr O'shea reports :—Flour, 11Z to 12. per ton; wheat, 4s 4d to 4s 6d par bushel; oats, 3s 9d ; maize, j6s 6d; pollard, 8s ; bran, Is 3d to Is 4d ; potatoes, 4Z 10s to 51 ; cheese, 10^d per lb. ; ham, IsJJd ; bacon, Is.
