(From our own Correspondent.) This day. The Tokatea, during the week, have seen .-a little gold. The stope in the Peep-o'-Day leader, Evcelsior level, is eight inches thick It looks well. They will st-nd a trial parcel to the mill in a week. Contractors in Siege level have driven 200 feet, and the contractors in the Van level will finish Tokatea boundary next week.
The Union Beach have a few pounds good specimens. More expected. The City of Auckland crushed 7501b5. •specimens at the Whakaroa battery. The result is 2840z5. 12dwts. retorted gold. Got 601bs. specimens last night. The Bismarck leader is looking well. The Great Tnnnel Company are drawing iron rails from the tnnnel. The ground is said to be abandoned.
