(From our own Correspondent.) Thursday. The Wreck of the William and Jiiary.
Body Found.—lnquest
An inquest wps held to-day on a body found in the forecastle at the wreck of the William and Mary, which was driven ashore during the recent gales. The body has not been identified, the captain being in Wellington. The man had a rope round his neck, with two half-hitches in it. The query is bow it got there. The surgeon's evidence shewed death to have resulted from drowning. There were no marks of strangulation.
