Court Matters. The Warden sat to-day and fixed the hearing of objections against the .Ajax and other licenses for the 29th. Mr Lawlor, Bevising OiScer for the electoral district, is sitting to-day. There are 800 objections, principally made by Major Keddell, the Kegistration Officer ; Mr Horton of the Thames, and Mr Home of Coromandel. Rich Show in the Cure. The Cure have the richest show of gold yet obtained, in the main drive, within 50it. of the Bed Queen boundary ; gold is also shewing freely in the head of the main pass. They 300ozs. of amalgams from 50 tons crushed last week at the Tararn battery. Nonpareil and Ohinemuri Crushings. The Nonpareil crushed 13 tons for 32 ozs 10 dwts.
The All. Nations (Ohinemuri) trial oi a ton will yeild about lh ozs.
