" Wk observe by advertisement," says the Belfast Newsletter of April 27, "that Mr H. W. Farnall, who has been a very successful agent for the Provincial Government ol Au.kland,JiNew Zealand, is about to leuve BelfMt, and hit office in now cloned. Ocr
tainly, during Mr Famall's residence here, he did his duty to the colony;, and, while we do not dispute his merits as a gentleman, we are glad that his occupation as an emigration agent has come to an end, Emigration agents are desolating our country, and we should have no objection to hear they had all gone with Mr Farnall. We have nothing against them personally, but we are conscientiously hostile to their avocation, and we wish our people would seek advice at other sources [1 he advertisement referred to states that Mr Farnall is returning to New Zealand ] — The same paper contains another advertisement, offering free passages to New Zealand, signed: "For particulars apply to Mr. S.
