LEASE OF THE MARKET-HOUSE.
There was a keen competition at Mr Arthur's mart for the lease of the Markethouse for one year, from the Ist July next ; and the lease was at length knocked down to the present lessee, Mr R. C. Greenwoed, at a rental of £75 per month ; being £34 more than the monthly sum realised last year, the price then being £41 per month. The market is now considered to be a good investment for the city, as it will bring in at least 10 per cent on the original outlay
