_ . Wairau Election. Ihe Wairau election nomination took place to-day, and only Messrs Ward and Moorhouse, were nominated. The show of hands was—Ward, 57 ; Moorhouse, S3. A poll was demanded for Ward by himself, which will take place on Monday.
