Arthur's poultry and produce sale to~day, fowls were sold at Is 9d to 2s 6d ; Spanish fowls, 5s to 5s 3d; pea fowls, 7s 6d .to 8s; ducks, 2s 4d; geese, 3s 3d; Chinese geese, 15s; turkeys, 2s-lid to 5s 9d; Aylesbury do, 3s 8d to 3s 9d; Taranaki butter, Is 2Jd to Is 7£d ; cheese, B^d to 9Jd ; potatoes, 3s to 4s 9d ; onions, lid. i'-i ■.U-.:-_.

Messrs Tonks and Co. sold to-day a quan tity of Nelson salt butter at Is 4d to Is fid fresh do, Is lOd.

Mr AiFi-ED Btjcki-And's Weekly Report.— At the Hajmatket, on .Friday last, fodder was abundant and prices lower Horse stock in average supply: with a fair demand for all kirrda except heavy draught, which are relatively dull of sale. Hides command more attention; skins at late values. At Reamer.., oil Thursday, no good dairy cattle were offered ; store cattle more plentiful than usual, with a steady demand at lata values ; fat cattle in full supply—lS7 sold to the trade—prices lower 2s 6d to 7s 6d the 1001b. . Store sheep plentiful, with a fair inquiry ; f .t sheep in full supply, and slightly lower in price. Pigs in full supply ; prime quality in request at last week's values ; coarse animals at lower values. Prices given were: Hay. 3s to 6s the cwt; maize, 63; oats, 3a 6d the bushel ; heavy draught stock,' £40 to £45 each, with a limited enquiry ; active harness, £18 to £32, with an unsatisfied demand; inferior horse stock, £5 6s and upwards ; good hacks, £15 to' £41 each ; choice- fat cattle, 3_s to 37s 6d ; medium quality, '80s the 1001b ; store lambs. 7s to 10s 6d each ; aged lohg-woollcd ewe?, 12s to 24s each ; fat sheep,. 4d to 4Jd the lb ; pigs, 2£d to 3Jd the 1b...
