An entertainment was given in the Catholic Institute, Onehunga, last evening by the pupils of St. Mary's School. The entertainment was all that could be desired, and received the full approbation of all present. The following programme was selected for the occasion:—l)vet, " Flaut of the Fairies," by the Misses leahy, Donovan, Player, Bonner, and Grahame \ glee, "See our Oars," Ac., the full strength of the performers; recitation by Master Cullen was well rendered. A duett by the Misses Careys reflect great credit on children of such tender years. Beeit.tion, " Casablanca," by Master Leahy, was acknowledged by all present to be the gem of the first part of the programme. Part second : Vocal duet, "Minute Gun at Sea," by Miss Fuller aud Master Cullen received loud reports of approbation. Song and chorus, "Mill May," by the full strength of the company, shewed a good effect of well-trained voices. A drama, entitled the witch of Rosenburg. Countess of Bosenburg, Missleahy ; Lottie, the School Mistress, Miss Shale ; Frau Plumpess, Miss Flayers ; Courtess (confidental Maid), Miss Fullers ; Frau H uckers, M iss Donavau; Frau Lennell, Mi.s Greenwood. This drama was well leceived, and reflects gnat credit on the performers, as also the Sisters of St, Mai'y's Convent, for the very able manner in which the children were trained. This brought one of the most pleasant evening's entertainment to a close that has been in Onehunga for a long time.
