The Proprietor having been strongly recommended by some of the leading physicians in New Zealand to bring this Medicine more prominently before the public as a remedy in all cases of Coughs, Colds, Influenza, Sore Throats, &c., has the satisfaction of seeing, after sixteen years, a large sale as the result, many testimonials being constantly forwarded from those who have received relief from the COUGH DROPS. ,/• The Proprietor, therefore, only asks those, who suffer to try it, feeling confident every satisfaction will be given to the patient. BRADSHAW'S GUIDE TO NEW ZBALAND. The eitenslon of railway communication, the consequent exceedingly rapid increase in the passenger traffic throughout the colony of New Zealand, and the paucity of information—of a reliable character— now obtainable of the arrivals and departures ot the various trains, coaches, mail and other steamers, and all methods of travel, render jthe publication of some trustworthy and authentic record of referance an absolute necessity. The subscribers propose to issue to the public a monthly "Guide," similar—as far as circumstances will permit—to the well-known •'Bradhaw" of the mother country, containing Time-tables compied with every possible regard to accuracy and from information obtained from authentic sources only of all BailwaTS, Coaches, Steamers, &c , &c. The projected publication will also contain full information regarding Postal and Telegraphic arrangements, General, Provincial, and Municipal Governments ; Public Institutions, Banks, Insurance Companies, complete Descriptive Itinerary, and, in short, will be made as replete with general and useful information ai possible. The want of a medium of Advertising for tti< whole Colony has long been felt by all commercld classes. The publication now projected will, It ii confidently anticipated, fully fill that want, as it wll be the first aim of the subscribers to produce the worl at a price which must ensuTe its being accessible tc the whole community. It is calculated that an i»sui of some thousands per month may be relied upon which wUI be distributed throughout the entiri Colony. The advantagfS thus offered to advettuer must therefore be at once apparent. In submitting this prospectus to the public of Not Zealand, the subscribers beg to give the as&iirana that every efiFoit will be made to carry it out in it integrity, and render In proportionately as recoipiisei an i stitution in New Zealand, as "Bradshaw' Guide" is in Kngland Terms of Subscriptions and for Advertising may b ascertained from the various agents, whose name will shortly be published in the local newspapers. ■ DALGLIESH & REID.
