The Kowena sailed at eleven o'clock last night for Auckland. Passengers : Mrs Edgecumbe, ' Captain Skeet and family, Dr Mantell, T. M. Wrigley, and others. The Times denies the statement appearing in the Star, that the Native Office was not represented during Rewi's visit to Whakatane.
