There has been erected on the South of the Yavra a Store House for Colonial Wines, by Messrs A. & R. Caughey, gentlemen of long standing in Melbourne. It is in fact half a Cellar: the roof, a hollow cistern, full of water designed to promote coolness below ; tho extent is sufficient for stowing lnoro than a quartor of a million gallons. The Wine has to be stowed in racks from floor to roof, making a prodigious weight to bo sustained. The casks contain each from 1000 gallons down te tho ordinary CO-gallon size. Adjoining is an extensive Bottling Collar. It is a fixed rule that no Wine leaves the store under three years of ago, but five years is the average time allowed, and there is great uniformity in each description of Wine from year to year. The stock in bulk and bottle consists of Shiraz, Ilerraitige, Muscatel, Burgundy, Chasselas, Bolsllng, Verdeilho, Muscot, Claret, Malbec, Matan, Frontignae, Mcdoc, Hock, Chablis, Sauteme, Madena, Maloga, Pedro.
