CAT-STREET.
To the Editor of the Sj'Ab.. Sir,—You stated in your last night's issue that the climate of Cat-street was too warm for the insertion of my yesterday's letter. Be it so. I hope you will not consider this too warm, for, sir, I feel sure that you have been misinformed by F. Ledger, which caused you to be so very severe with me. I give as reason for the advertisement "He's come ! He's come !" this : that I wish and intend if possible to remove a pest that now is supposed to exist in the so-called Catstreet. In this lam bound to endorse your statement " the weather is too warm." But I assure you, sir-, the pest is still>armer ; so much so that the cats, with groans and horrid moans,, rend the midnight air and make the neighbourhood around impossible to bear. I have only to add that I trust the next time my Cat-street friend furnishes you with any kind of information it will be truth instead of falsehood. By inserting this you will greatly oblige yours, &c, E. T. IvTNfj!.
