An extraordinary meeting of the above Com pany was held at Mr Tothill's office £ afternoon for the purpose of making arrant ments for raising funds to continue £ operations of the Company, and exvlJZ. the- mine at the 400 feet level Mr Whit t occupied the chair. The only husS transacted was the passing of a solution to call a meeting f or M™ day week, when the following prono «i will be submitted : To consider a SoS to increase the nominal capital of the Com .pany by the creation of ten thousand nZ, shares of' £5 each, of which £4 shall h deemed to have been paid up, leaving ! liability of £1 share to be called up as rp mured. The new shares to be offered to holders of original shares.
