There has been elected on tho South Bank of the Yurra a Store House for "Colonial Wines, by Messrs A. & R. Caugliey, gentlemen ,of long standing in Melbourne. It h in fact half a Cellar; the roof, a hollow ctefc*n, full of water designed to promote coolness below; Ui£ extent Is Buflicicnt for stowing more than a quarter of a million gallons. Tho Wine has to bo stowed in racks from floor tp.roof, making a prodigious weight to bo sustained. The casks contain each from 1000 gallons down te the ordinary CO-gallon sizo. Adjoining is an cxtonsivc Bottling Cellar. It is a fixed rulo that no Wine leaves the store undor three years of age, but live years is the averago time allowed, and there is great uniformity in each description of Wine from year to year. The stock in bulk and bottle consists of Shiraz, Hermit 'go, Muscatel, Burgundy. Chasselas, Reisling, Verdcilho, Mascot, Claret, Malbcc, Matan, Frontignae, Medoc, Hock, Chablis, Sauternc, Madenn, Maloga, Pedro.
