BUUiN KEN'S ESS,
Geo. Pace, Joseph Simpson, and Charles Brown were subjected to the customary pains and penalties for being drunk the previous day. One of these delinquents (Mr Brown) was formerly sergt.-major of police. He pleaded guilty to the offence and was fined five shillings. VAORAXCY. Elizabeth McFaylane, alias Warrington, was charged under the Vagrant Act with frequenting public places for the purpose of prostitution. She was ordered to pay a fine of £2 or go to craol for a month.
The latter alternative was complied with This concluded the business.
