HUNTER AND NOLAN'S REPORT. Horses.—The market has not been quite so'briglit as for the previous two weeks, but still there was no noteworthy depression. Good hacks are in demand at from £8 to £19 10s; light harness horses from £15 to £26 ,;15s ; really good heavy draught, with triads, are worth from £40 to £50, but none of this class weie entered for sale on Friday last, the^ maximum price obtained being £.39 10s. Cattle were in fair supply ami good demand, and with the exception of dairy, which were dull of sale, and of inferior description, all yarded at Newmarket on Tuesday met •with spirited competition. Stores fully maintained last week's prices. Fat beasts were not nearly sufficient in quantity for requirements, there being a large demand for the IThames trade, consequently prices were maintained, although they had previously been depressed. We quote—Dairy cows, from £5 to £6 10s ; well-bred yearlings, from £2 15s to £12 15s ; two-year-oldß, from £4 7s Gd to £5 2s 6d ; three-year old steers, from £5 10s to £615s'; "beef, 24s to 28a per 100 lbs. , , h Sheep.—The supply continues limited of both stores and fat sheep. , Ewes and: lambs realised 34s per couple. The fat sheep penned were eagerly bought by the trade at from 2s Sd to 3s per lb. Lambs were plentiful, and sold readily at from 17s to 21s !?d. Pigs were yarded in limited numbers, and were well competed for without alteration in value. , , «-
