Reasons Why DOWNER'S KEROSENE OIL Shouldl bo used by Consumers in preference to »uy nine Petroleum Oil. Ist. It is safe, having a fire test of never less than 125' Fahrenheit. 2nd. It is finished by distillation, without treatment with acids and alkalies as the last process. It is double distilled for the purpose of removing the acids and alkalies used in the manufacture of all Petroleum Oils, but which cannot bo removed except by their process, 3rd. The Downer Oil being chemically pure, burns with more brilliancy of flame, consuming less oil fora given amount of light. It less trouble, because ' the Lamps reqirire less frequent filling, and the wick less frequent trimming. 4th. Although the Downer Oil costs more per gallpn than other oils, it is, in the end, cheaper for the consumer, because it gives a greater amount of light with consumption of oil. Your grocer may tell you he has on sale an oil in uality equal to Downer Oil. Don't believe this story. Downer Oil is quoted and known all over the world jas the highest standard brand.
