H.M.s. Basilisk, from Tauranga Go-ahead, s.s., put back disabled Clenvtis, brig, from Newcastle Magellan Cloud, schooner, from Russell Clyde, schooner, from Wangarei Whynot, ketch, from Cabbage Bay Leah, cutter, from Tanranga Agnes, cutter, from the Waikato
The Fairy, from Hokianga, brings the following cargo—l 9 hides, 24 do, Lewis Bros ; G do, 4 bags wool, Must and Co ; 1 ton wool, Lewis Bros.
The Fiery Cross cleared for the Barrier to-day, and the Morning Light for Ttussell. A barque is signalled inside Tiritiri as we go to press.
H.M. s.s. Basilisk arrived in harbour this afternoon from Tauranga.
The Whynot brin<? 18,000 feet timber for MrD. Goldie.
The s.s. Go-Ahead, which left theManukau for Taranaki yesterday, put back this morning disabled.
The brig Clematis brings a cargo of coals for Messrs Henderson and Macfarlane.
The Magel'an Cloud, from Bussell, brings a cargo of junk timber.
Captain Farquhar, late of the Royal Alfred, has, we are glad to learn, been appointed to the command of the A.S.P. Company's s.s. Star of the South. The appointment is a very judicions one, and calculated to increase the popularity of that vessel with passengers.
